Food for Thought and Fuel for the Future When a cell phone battery is dying, plugging it in to an electrical outlet will send a flow of electricity to the battery giving it the recharge it needs for full operation. This is a perfunctory process that people do on a daily basis. But how often does anyone really think about how or where that energy source is generated? Or how about the millions of gallons of fuel all over the U.S. being pumped into vehicles to give them power, is the U.S. in jeopardy of running out anytime soon?
